I would not always recommend the Sleek 4G over the Sleek 3G. There are a couple of factors that can sometimes make the 3G better. One is it is half the price for the 3G. Also the 3G is rated at 26db vs 23db for the 4G, so if data speed is not your top priority then the 3G is a better option. Most people don't realize that 3G speeds are still around the same as many peoples home DSL speeds which is usable for most people on the road. 4G is definitely a better option if you do need the extra speed, but the 3G is a better option if you need the range.
In the OP's case, it sounds like voice may be the primary concern, if that is the case then there is no difference in voice quality on the 3G vs the 4G only data speed and range.
