T-Mobile does offer a free signal booster that amplifies their signal. I'm told you just contact them and state your signal is not strong enough.

This might be a home based solution that connects to strong internet connection.

Agree with others, T Mobile is probably the problem. However, the Wilson Sleek booster is a great device. I have 3 of them. They do not perform miracles. If you're on the edge of service expect two bars extra as the phone reads it. To be specific, anticipate 18db +/- extra signal.

I would recommend the all around Wilson Sleek 4g. It's the most expensive unit. However, it does all 3g and all 4g (mostly). In case you change carriers the device will be ready for you. Some carriers are adjusting the way they use 4G. See the Sprint Spark coming maybe to a city in the not so near future. The basic Wilson Sleek 3G does all 3G. The Verizon 4G does Verizon 4g and all 3G.

  • Verizon here also with a Jetpack. Use a Wilson Sleek with an outside antenna. No problems so far.
  • We have Verizon cell service, Verizon Mi-Fi and use a Wilson Sleek booster. Booster works for both cell phone and Mi-Fi. Used it all over the US and some of Canada with zero problems.
  • Many Va state parks are putting in wifi and we love it. We camphost in Va, but also in MD and they have little to no cell service, so definitely no wifi in the park we host in. We just purchased a booster from www.cellphoneshop.net for less than $70. We don't know how well it works until we get there, but I figured we would at least give it a try. If it doesn't work, we will send it back.

  • T Mobile is your biggest problem. Their service is just too limited for long term Rvers.
Most go with Verizon for the superior coverage in almost all of the US.
There is a current thread running covering amplifiers that you might want to look up HERE
  • we use straight talk...android smart phone ...from Walmart...we chose the specific phone that connects thru Verizon towers...3g is fine for us..but they do carry a 4g...we get unlimited phone & internet..$45/mo....
we're out in the boonies with it now...on mobile data...it can also connect thru wifi...but we've never needed to...
we have had no problems.....but since you asked about the booster...there's several free apps thru google play..but you need a good connection speed to download...but actually..I've found...they can't get no more than you got...
sorta like that "blood out of a turnip thing"
good searching & happy travels..we will be at Suwannee state park nxt winter/first time volunteering...we won know til we get there where the towers are
