I couldn't resist the temptation to buy the iPhone when it came out. Bought one with a phone and text plan only. NO data. Started out at 65.00 per month and inched it's way up to 105.00 per month. I ditched my land line over 10 years ago because it cost 65.00 to just hang there before you even made any calls. Wan't going to pay more than that for a cell phone.
.....fast forward. Ditched the iPhone contract and am going to put the sim card from flip phone into the iPhone for a $55.00 mo unlimited phone and text.....I DO like the nice keypad for texting and the nice BIG key pad numbers for calling. And the game apps are nice for boring waiting times.
Been AT&T user since I hit the road full time.
I've never been without service anywhere except a real small plantation CG in Albany, Georgia that had NO cell reception O bars, and NO internet reception.
I swear they had an invisible shield over THAT CG! Talk about seeing all the campers completely freaking out when they found out they couldn't use their phones! :B
