- westendExplorerInside the plastic case are two small 12v sealed batteries. I have been gifted a few of these from folks after they die. I pull them apart for small parts and recycle the batteries.
- Chuck_thehammerExplorerthis is one of those products.
the more you use it the better..
let it sit.. it dies.. my opinion.
charge, discharge, charge, discharge, charge.. etc. - IAMICHABODExplorer III have had 2 of these, first one quit working in about a year, would not hold a charge. Tried a second one,It would not start my Yukon, just not enough punch, same on my Class C,also went belly up in about 18 months.
Always charged it according to instructions.
Gave up on the cheap ones and went with This one Our mechanics at work used them to start our vans and our small Bob tails. More money but I want something reliable when on the road.
Kids used it to fire up a friends boat with a BIG Ford motor, used it all day while trying to get it to run during tune up,maybe 6 times during the day, never faltered but did need to be plugged in at the end of the day.
Your experience with them may be better than mine,I hope so. - path1Explorer

Anyone have knowledge of the CEN-TECH 3 in 1 jump starter?
$40 at Harbor Freight. Is it reliable and worth it?
Subscribed...I hope it is worth it, Here's why.
I picked one up after seeing a AAA employee using one. SHE said she "Only does Won't start calls and has 3 of them that she carries daily and they really work good and I use them everyday but they only last about couple years, but remember I use them everyday".
So I picked one up. In instructions it says to charge once a month, so I do. The 120 volt cord with the square end, recommend zip tying it to handle. I lost my cord and had to buy another unit just to get replacement cord. Could not just buy cord. So know I have 2. And I think I paid closer to $60.00?
