Must say that there seems to be some inconsistency. Some mods seem more flexible than others when it comes to how far they will let a thread go. Some get cut off at the knees for what seems to be little reason and others go farther than you would ever expect.
Still, the mods have a thankless job. They don't make the rules but have to interpret them the way they see them.
