Actually the heat wave is upon us right now today. Plenty of reserves in CA. Feel free to plug in.
Although still best to conserve from 4 to 9 pm. However there will be NO enforcement.

Assuming California has any reserves (hopefully so…), it’s only made possible by their now reliance on energy imports from neighboring States (like mine…)….As far as enforcement goes, you might check out what’s happening in Colorado where the electric provider has been forced to take over control of folks smart thermostats… Are we to assume Californians will gain an exemption from such??… (personally, I think not)…And can we dismiss the more rural areas where tons of CG’s are located??

BTW, some Good news is in order !!…it’s been recently reported that a whopping 7 giga-tons of new ice have recently been added to Greenlands ice sheet - some cause for optimism!!
