(I'm on wet side of Cascades) If something requires any skill (matching colors, woodwork, anything that "fixing it might be worse in the end") I go to a place that has had a waiting line for many years now. No matter what time of year. They know their stuff hense the waiting line. If some part is basically changing it out and I can't do it, I call around and get bids. 10% doesn't matter much when they pack on extra stuff anyways. Most RV dealers in the state get their stuff from NTP (nw tailer parts) or their new name/bought by Ketstone. If you have one of their books that is free from our dealer where we buy the most from, the prices are right in the book. There is value in staying with one dealer that knows you and we buy 70% of our parts from one guy. Not uncommon for me to ask him questions of how to trouble shoot something or how to swap out with new part. But anything that requires skill, it is back to waiting in line to have professional fix it(cabinet doors, drawer slides) Had that relationship going since 1993. Now we're both gray haired and both of us complain about price of parts and labor.
