The difference being a "discount" can be given to whom the business owner chooses...if you can prove a business is charging you more than their "going" rate then you have a case. As a business owner myself I give discounts to regular clients, large volume customers, early payment, or if a client is dissatisfied. I am legally and ethically entitled to do so, as is the OP's local dealership.
