I agree that a business has the right to offer discounts to customers if they so choose. The point I would like to address is the attitude that it appears the OP is gett ing when bringing his rv in for service. If I don't buy from you, and you are willing to do my servicing anyway, I don't need a rash of******every time I come in. One local dealer was really miffed when I called him on a similar attitude as we were shopping for our last rv. By driving 6 hours, I could save 4000 dollars. He had the EXACT model on his lot. Would not budge. Tried to cajole me with the 10 percent off service deal. I told him that my new rig better not need 40,000 dollars of service (the amount needed to equal the 4000 dollar difference in price) in the near future. He could not understand my attitude. Luckily I have another local dealer who is more than happy to accommodate my rv service needs with a pleasant attitude, skillful techs, and reasonable prices. Perhaps the OP can search for another shop. Not all dealers have poor attitudes.
