We play music way more than we watch TV. Our in house speakers hooked up to the in-dash sound pretty good but I think the previous owner replaced the originals. Haven't pulled them to see what they are yet. I had a nice set of SONYs I put in my last one with a sub in one of the lower utility cabinets.
I inherited this JVC Boom Box which sounds great in the camper.
It plays just about anything, CD/MP3, Ipod, USB thumb drive w/MP3s, and AM/FM. It even has aux and guitar inputs. I have an IPod in it and a thumb drive with around 10,000 songs on it. It's got a remote and I have it strapped into a cabinet and have it wired to run off AC or DC. It's portable and I can remove it from the cabinet and use it outside but seldom do. The built in outside stereo works OK and we don't ever have it very loud outside anyway.
What I would like to do is replace the older DVD/VHS player in the AV distribution system with a surround sound Blu-Ray player and add speakers but I can't find one that has an F type connector output so I can send the video signal to both TVs through the older cable switcher.
