Cheap RV camp ground in Southern CA

Hi There,

I am new to RVing . I live in Southern CA and I am planning to take the kids out more often this summer. I will only travel locally in Southern CA on the weekend. Is there a membership club (like Costco of RV parks?) where we can become a member and get reasonably inexpensive camp ground? I appreciate your comments and suggestions.

thanks

    Hi Cody,
I'm in So Cal too and it depends on what you consider inexpensive. Most of the State campgrounds are between $28-$48 per day and booked through Reserveamerica.com. I suggest you familiarize yourself with that site. The more expensive sites will be on the beach and book up many months in advance.

As to discounts, you can join Good Sam and others and get discounts, but these generally apply to private Campgrounds which are as much or more than the State campgrounds. Good luck and let me know if you need anymore info.

BTW, were are you in So Cal?
