I towed a 19' Trail lite TT with a scale weight of just under 4K ready to go with a Sonoma Crew Cab for two summers. Went over the Rockies and back twice. The 4.3 makes torque at a relatively low RPM and does well on fairly level roads but struggles on the long grades. Need a good trans cooler and guage and keep engine in good shape because you will be operating at times at high RPMs. I'd be a bit concerned about the lenght of your TT especially in a cross wind but you seem to be set up correctly.
