Many thanks to all have provided feedback to my question. As I suspected, the Toy Hauler we liked is too much trailer for my truck.
I think a 5th wheel like the GD Reflection 303RLS (specs below) or something with comparable specifications as this 5th wheel would be a much better choice for my 2500HD truck.
Grand Design Reflection 303RLS
11995 - GVWR
9200 - Dry Weight
1660 - Hitch Weight (based on average - per GD web site specification)
32'11" - Length

Be careful when using those "General" specifications......
- Max payload (pin weight) is a stripped regular cab 2WD gas truck
- Max Tow rating is a stripped truck with a 150# driver. Anything else in the truck comes off the rating.
NOTHING beats weighing your truck ready for travel. Then, assuming you plan to stay within specs:.......
- Available payload then becomes GVWR minus loaded truck weight.
- Available tow capacity becomes GCWR minus loaded truck weight.
