Chinese Tire maker triangle to build plant in North Carolina

Looks like Chinese tire maker Triangle is going to build a large tire plant in North Carolina.

I wonder if more foreign companies will build plants here now the tax rate has been lowered to 21 percent.

The tax rate will benefit shareholders, not workers. Most CEOs have already said as much.

Worldwide the average corporate tax rate is 22.1%. Our 39% was a killer, only exceeded by the UAE and Chad, 2 manufacturing powerhouses.

and maybe they will be required to build better tires.

I saw a lot of Triangle tires on tour buses in Europe...will go with them on the rear of my DP next time now that they are made in the USA. Fake News says cutting the tax rate 60% will not make any difference :S
