Chrome rims

You might check out PVD if you are wanting to have a shiny wheel. Supposed to be the best on new wheels and they come in a few colors.

If I was going to spend the money for new rims I would buy either Mag or Al rims, these are machined to very close tolerance + or - .005. Chrome wheels are just steel stamped wheels that are with in .030. Less vibration and better balance with alloy wheels.

Would like to find a set of aluminium wheels to match my truck.

If you do switch to aluminum make sure that your wheel studs are long enough for a thicker wheel.

I have chrome wheels on my boat trailer and they looked great when new. But they had a coating on the chrome to protect it and now that coating is peeling off. They don't look so good now. Not sure if all chrome wheels are like this but just info to be aware of.

Replace them with aluminum rim and you set.

It is all personal preference. If you like chrome rims, then that is what you should get. I am a bit of a cheap-skate, so I did not upgrade to the aluminum rims when we got the new trailer.

I have the factory white wheels on mine. They were boring. What I did was get 4 chrome trim rings and center caps. They really added that finishing touch it was missing. Of course if your wheels are rusty, you can either get rid of the rust and repainted them white, then add the rings and caps. Or spring for 4 nice aluminum trailer wheels. They have to be designated for a trailer!

These guys carry lots of cool looking RV rims and are a major supplier for the industry.

We are presently shopping for another toy hauler to replace the Work & Play. Most brands these days have the black wheels. I hate that. I'm old-school. Nothing like shiny wheels to sharpen things up.

Me too. I did like the black inset Crager wheels. but they did still have chrome on them around the rim. . Shiny is always better.
