Class A towing an 2017 Lincoln MKZ on a Tow Dolly

Agree, I may have mistakenly read that as a two part question.... dolly-able? or which braking system to use for flat towing.

As for dolly brake systems, you can choose electric drum or hydraulic surge disc. The car doesn't car what system the dolly uses, and no, the car should not have its own braking system when used on a dolly.
