Does anyone tow a Honda Pilot with 4wd? Of course the manuals and dealers say no, but I have heard if you follow the same procedures as a CRV you are fine. I had a Honda rep tell me the only reason ...

If it doesn't have a transfer case, then it is AWD (all wheel drive) as a 4WD with transfer case has two speeds...hi and lo. AWD doesn't have any gears except those in the transmission and all four wheels are "pretty much" working all the time.
