In reading posts from several RV forums for many years it seems most newer Class A & Cs get about the same mileage (within 4MPG)on average.
The way I look at it.... when we are out in the RV the enjoyment is worth every extra penny so who cares what the mileage is.
I'm guessing, if we were able to calculate all costs involved in RV travel versus the cost of staying staying home, the 4MPG or even a 6MPG difference might be offset by the reduced electrical, fuel for errands and water usage at our home while we aren't there.
That's my two cents...
