Our 2006 Class A gets between 7.5 and 8 MPG, whether we tow our toad or not. It's a 32'Georgie Boy Pursuit with a Ford V-10 engine. . We've been all up and down the East Coast and did some driving in the Appalachians. We previously owned a Coachman Leprechaun Class C (1996 I believe) and averaged 8.5-9.5 MPG with a Chevy 354 engine. When we towed with that the mileage was more than 1/5 MPH less. Hope this helps, but there are so many variables it's not an easy question to get reliable information for. DH always says "if you really have to worry about MPG when using your RV, you might not be in a position to do it at all"! Honestly, we don't always find it a less expensive way to enjoy our vacations, but it is always more enjoyable!!! With the cost of so many CGs going up and the cost of fuel doing the same, we can sometimes find less expensive lodging and using our small toad to drive to a location - but then there's no campfire!!!!!
