Thanks I watched it-good video and very informative how to take the fan and motor out.
For this cleaning though, I'd rather not get that involved. I'd be satisfied with a wiping and dusting of the blades and housing. I think I could accomplish from the inside.
Has anyone successfully removed the screen without breaking tabs? That would do for my purposes. If it looks like I will need to replace screen, I'll let it go longer between cleanings.
Also my fan appears to be secured to motor by downward facing philips screw-not set screw shown in video. If that actually holds the fan, the fan should be able to come down out of housing once screen removed.
