Cleaning up oxidation on gelcoat

Look up Polyglow and see what you think. If the prep is done right the finish should be shiny as new

I have used PoliGlow now for five years. Nothing I tried came close to making the fiberglass new looking. This does it! POLIGLOW

You should also take a look at MEGUIAR'S M4965 Marine/RV Fiberglass Restoration System. It gave my oxidized endcap a mirror like shine.

Tried all the buffing with multiple products (meguies rv kit) And orbital buffer . Was only temporary (lasted a few weeks) and tons of work. Went to poliglow with poli prep done first. Very happy. Initial application is some work but after that one wipe on coat spring and fall. Super easy and well worth it.

Also have a 2007 but it is indoor stored 7 months in year. Front cap looks new. Lots of decent products out there. Mine is a two step process. 3M Marine Cleaner Wax first to remove any minor oxidation. Looks good after this step but don't be fooled, the multipurpose products don't last very long.

Second step for me is Meguires Flagship wax. It is not a restorer or cleaner wax. It is a protectant only wax. For the sides & rear cap this is all that is needed for a year. For the front cap, catching all the bugs, it is a twice a year job.
