The white molding around my pass-through storage is always getting mildew. I use Mold Armor on it and the awning. No scrubbing required. Spray on, let sit for a few minutes and hose off. Works great on the propane cylinder cover too. Find at Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes.

I found that using the Thetford Black Streak Remover which takes it off in a heartbeat not only cleans it, but it also prevents mold from from coming back so quickly even though you rinse it off.

Don't know why but I've tried everything when I was parked down South and cleaning with this really did stop it from coming back. It must leave some sort of surfactant behind that prevents it.

You can apply a nano wax that will seal the surface. ProtectAll is one that can be applied to most any surface. I used Goof Off to clean the rubber/vinyl trim around the door on our previous MH. I believe it was the heavy duty or pro version not the standard stuff. A little bit of work but it did the job.
