Cleaning window screens

Regardless on how long it takes, don't like removing them. I use a vacuum first then a microfiber dusting mitt with a little pledge spray wax and go over them. Mitt's can be found at Wally World. I use them for dusting all over the rv; you can feel what you are dusting unlike a towel.

Two people... two hours..? Somethings not right. I'm on my third coach and all the screens have come out the same way. Open the window, slide the screen out of the side track, push the top edge up into the top track and remove the bottom edge from the lower track... reverse the procedure to reinstall... EZ..PZ On a vertical install it's basically the same procedure... open the window, slide screen up from the bottom track, push left (or right depending on the install) edge into the track and remove the other side.

Now some spring clips might be stronger then others and there could also be a build up of 'gunk' in one track or the other... but a good cleaning after removal should allow for an easy reinstall.

Our screens are mounted in a track on the inside and have a spring to hold them in place.

I wash them down with a small cleaning towel wetting down with a general purpose cleaner. To get both sides we must remove the screens.

Just wipe the screens off with a dampened terry shop cloth while in place.

Take a close look at the area that the screen slide in. Take a close look at the screen where it fits in that slide. Some have a spring type piece that keeps the screen in place when installed. Just by careful examination of both surfaces will show you how it goes back together without any effort.

Use wet wipes.

can you vacuum them probably from the outside?

Hose always works for us...never even thought about taking them out.
