In fact, on the hottest days I just remove it and the flow seems to go up about 25%. Is this something you've done?

All of the replies have to do with cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I get it. My question was more about air flow, which in my trailer is significantly stronger with the filter out.
Most of the respondents have answered your original question. "No, we do not remove our filters" along with additional information as to why we don't remove our filters.
Your observation about an increase in air flow, with the filter removed, is correct. But I can assure you the air handling system in your RV was designed for optimum air flow with a filter system installed. The purpose of the filter is to maintain the efficiency of the system.
What exactly is your point of you second post that I quoted?
