Well I am sorry that you have been the object of any personal attacks over this issue. That is uncalled for. It is hard for me to make a judgment because I havent seen a single post here that I considered to be so out of line that it required deleting.
It could be that some who post negative things may know something we don't about a particular employer or it may be they are just snarky and petty.
I think there may be a middle ground that could be tried between the rather dictatorial "Now we do it my way" and my suggestion to loosen up a bit. Surely you can see that this is based on good intentions and in no way is a personal criticism of you.
I just truly believe that there is more benefit to openess, discussion and disagreement and even the occasional rude or snarky remark than in circling the wagons and deleting. Those that make clearly outrageous comments only serve to make the OP look better by comparison...deleting a thread or certain comments may leave the impression that RVNET is endorsing or protecting a given employer for some reason. While I dont beleive this is the case there are those who might. Let the fools show themselves, and let the rest of us decide for ourselves.
Thanks for all your efforts as moderator. It is not an easy job and one that requires a thick skin.
