Glad you're still with us, Desert Captain. My family lives out in Arizona and my folks have a cabin in Payson, so I'm somewhat familiar with the roads you're talking about. I'm pretty sure I understood it; minivan was in a great hurry, passed in a no-passing zone, and thanks to your quick response managed to avoid a bad situation for everyone. That's what you would call a "brown trouser" moment.
