I closed off the ends of both my ceiling ac and floor heat duct runs and it made a very noticeable improvement in air flow. I used cardboard cut to fit and foil tape to seal and hold in place.
I also removed each vent and sealed from duct to ceiling.
I also partially sealed the duct leading to the last duct in the LR to allow more flow into the BR. All this improved the overall cooling of the TT.
I had one 15K A/C to cool a 35' TT. It needed all the help it could get.
The OP and myself have the same trailer...luckily, we are both pre-framed/wired for a second A/C in the bedroom. What we also found out, this 15k A/C requires a minimum of six openings, we only have four...I think once we get a few extra vents inlace and seal off unnecessary air leaks, it will be a lot better. Another forum showed spacers made from 13/16 foam board..I will be doing that, plus using the silver tape generously where needed.
