We have FMCA roadside assist. Haven't used it yet.
We also have Progressive insurance on our motorhome. We like Progressive and have good service with the insurance and a good rate.
However, one year we decided to just use the Progressive roadside assist. During that year we blew out a rear air bag on our diesel motorhome in LA. We had a very bad experience with Progressive. When finally a tow truck came after 3-4 hours, we had already gotten another tow service to buy another air bag for us, and was on the way back to install it. The Progressive tow truck explained that Progressive would not pay the going rate for towing. So, what happened in our case was that after an hour the tow company got a better offer and dropped us. We were not happy with that. We then dropped the Progressive roadside service and just kept the insurance and returned to Coach Net, and eventually to FMCA Roadside assist.
