We bpught a Black & Decker single cup brewer. It uses your coffee mug as its receptacle and lets you use your own favorite brand of coffee, using a #2 Melitta filter. Beats the expensive "pods" hands down. IIRC, the coffee maker was about $50 at Costco.
Can provide model # if anyone is interested. Since DW is a drinker of tea rather than coffee, this was a good buy for us.
