While a coffee press is simple to use, it's another thing you have to clean. Same as I feel now about the glass carafs in the coffee makers. The plastic Melitta pour over takes no more cleaning than you would do with a regular coffee maker basket. And no coffee residue build up like in the keurigs. It fits in a drawer and won't break easily. Put paper cone filter (#2) in it and put in your scoops of coffee. Pour hot water in it and it gives you perfect drip coffee. Same way that the coffee houses do it to make single cups of coffee.
