In the pop-up, it's percolator only. I inherited from my grandfather and is probably 10-15 years older than me.
This season I'm going lazy and using the prepared filter packs. Just drop them in and heat away. Clean up is easy, dump out the filter pack and rinse the pot.
My son's scout troop has a big ceramic coated steel coffee pot (around 20 cups or so). They drop in two or three filter packs and fill with water. When more coffee is needed, just drop in another pack or two and more water. At the end of a weekend trip, there might be 7-8 filter packs to dump out into the garbage but cleanup is a breeze!
