I cannot speak to the campground specifically as I have only driven by it in Coffeyville, KS on my way to Oklahoma.
I do know that KS has a state income tax, but if you are a non-resident you can file a non-resident return and likely get a state tax return (contact your CPA - my advise is not the law). I know the town is not huge, but it has all the necessities. My family and I have stopped their for lunch/dinner many a time enroute from KC area to Tulsa, OK.
