Coiled Fresh Water Hose - Any Good?

Some time ago.. I was watching an Internet TV show (Ham Nation, about Ham Radio) and they showed me a coiling method that made sense.. And it turns out the hose does not kink nearly as bad.. They called it the "Over and Under" method..
But try this next time you coil your white hose.
Holding the first coil in your LEFT hand, Palm toward you...
Now turn your hand so the palm is away from you.. Then make the 2nd turn.
Turn palm back toward you for the 3rd turn (And all following odd number turns)
Turn palm back away for the 4th and all even number turns)
See how it uncoils next time
A better way is to the over under method,, (The above is a variation on it)
IN this you pass the even number coils UNDER the hose in your hand.. I can not describe it, You would have to watch the video.. And I have no clue as to which of the 150 episodes it is Julian Frost may know (some of the episodes contain contact info for him)
