We have one of the white hoses that is flat when disconnected. I coil it when finished with it and it fits in a plastic mailing bag about 12" square. It is the original hose the first owner purchased and while I had to replace the female end it is still like new. Can't get much more compact than a 12" X 12" X 1" package for storage.
