I have tried the supposed "no kink" white fresh water hoses but have not found one yet that won't kink when trying to coil it up for storage. For those using the coiled water hoses, are they working OK? Do they stretch out to the 25' measured length and then auto coil for storage?

Yes to all the above, however the hose only lasted 1 season for me.

All I use are coiled hoses. They stretch well and are easy to store. THey are not white, however I'll trade the water quality risk for the ease of use

Most of the ones I've seen say "Not for potable water". Or something similar. But that could be a CYA. But since they come from China for the most part, I have no idea what they are made of, and would pass on using them to drink from. JMO of course.

I used a different one years ago. It worked as promised but I did not like it because it did not lay flat on the ground and was a trip hazzard. It was even worse with elevated water connections as it became a fence and never touched the ground.
