Cold Weather Camping Tips?
They turn the water off at the campgrounds around here on November 1 and we've never camped after Halloween. This year we'd like to plan a guys weekend trip in November but we just have some concerns and questions.
Sure, we can fill up with water at home before leaving but what's the best way to handle dumping and cleaning your tanks when there is no water at the park? Do we just do #1 in the camper toilet and get a portable toilet for #2?
Do we just buy a cheap sewer hose for dumping and throw it away after our trip since we can't clean it as well as we normally would?
Any other tips of suggestions?
