In the long past (80s-90s), I found that Coleman popup trailers were definitely a class above the Starcrafts and Jaycos with engineering. Things like having two crank ports at different gearings, a fold-out step (so the trailer's door can just be dropped into place and easily locked by moving the step up and locking it), bed braces permanently attached, no need to add reinforcers to the poles, and many other small, but nice details.
Not sure how they are these days. In fact, I think Coleman has gone out of business in the popup market... I see hard-sided TTs, but not the tent trailers that used to be very good units.
