I'm 52 and got my first colonoscopy done last year. Found one small non cancerous polyp less than 2mm wide. Proctologist wants me back in 3 instead of 5 years. I am a huge advocate for pre-emptive screening for colon cancer. Easy to prep for and certainly not invasive as surgery.
