You shouldn't be "pressurizing" your water system to line pressure. If you don't have a built in pressure regulator, you need to buy one. 40 psi for older campers, 50-55 for newer ones is ok.
That is something I never thought of. Mind you, I never direct hook up to water, I only use it to fill my tank. - jplante4Explorer IIYou shouldn't be "pressurizing" your water system to line pressure. You're not kidding. I didn't realize this would start the cancer scare.
Can I get a large bag with extra butter on top?

- SpeakEasyExplorerSo you fill the water tank, which is what, 30 or 40 gallons? And how much of that water do you actually drink? And do you really think the moment that the water spent in the hose is more important than the environment of the tank that it sits in for days at a time?
Yeah... for my money I'll just buy gallons of water for drinking and save the tanked water for washing.

I bought a white hose but painted it green just to make people gasp.
a less labor intensive solution would be to use one of the blue ones rated for potable water. :)

I "glanced" at that hysteria and thought that it covered standard garden hoses, not potable water ones. I do't really think that phthalates in my black tank will add much "damage". :)
