Come on over for campfire coffee
A good cup of coffee around the campfire or early in the morning is one of the things I enjoy most about RVing. Everyone has their favorite coffee, and their special method of making it while camping. Tell us about your's - what brand of coffee do you use, is it brewed over the campfire or on the cooktop, in a french press, an old black pot or a shiny new perc...
(Let's not make this about brand bashing eg. Starbucks vs Seattles Best, etc) just tell us what makes your cuppa really special.
Myself, I use Kirkland beans from Costco (roasted by SBux), I grind the beans using an electric grinder plugged into a little 12 volt inverter, and perc the coffee in a Cabela's 9 cup stainless percolator on the RV cooktop. The aroma in the RV is marvelous!
Lets hear it from you all, what's your methods and preferences? Maybe we can get together around the campfire for a really great cup of java!
