Still working, so our camping is from 3 to 7 days at a time, at least once a month whether we need it or not. Before heading out, I create zip-lock packets, grinding enough beans for 12-cup pots into each packet, 2 pots a day. Generally have up to three different types of coffee beans in the house from Lola Savannah out of Houston, always a bit of variety.
We have tried all sorts of percolators, French presses and drip coffee makers. In the end, we have settled on a $30 Mr Coffee from Wal-Mart and it has lasted the longest!
It is just after 0600 in North Texas at Cedar Hill State Park. About 34 degrees, has been raining most of the night, half way through the first pot. Wife still asleep, 120 lb Great Pyrenees snoring in the "dinette bed", hot cup of coffee in hand. Life is good!
