Initial surge of even a PS version may cause your EU2000i to overload and stall since it's LRA is 50.5 amps, the same rating for the Mach III Plus ... I'd instead keep the stock A/C and equip it with a MicroAir Easy Start Soft Starter Kit that will solve this issue nicely.

I ran a Mach III PS with a big hard start cap for 5 trouble free years with my eu2000i. The trick was power management and a kill a watt meter. During the heat of the day with the icemaker, TV, home type stereo and outside fan running I would set the AC on it's coldest setting with the compressor running continuously with everything pulling around 11.5 Amps. At bedtime with everything else off I would use the temperature control and let it cycle. Worked good for us.
This soft start solution sounds better. I can use the AC that comes with the rig and my Honda.
