I'm just being silly. I've always been into sports car racing. I've been going to the Daytona 24 and Sebring 12 hours pretty much every year since '69. I'm a big fan of Scott Pruett. Back in 14 when Ganassi/Pruett debuted the Ecoboost at the 24 we scoffed at the sound it made. It sounded like a Supra with a fart can and everyone laughed and called it the ecobomb. Well no one is laughing now so forget the sound the engine is a monster. And I like where it makes it's torque, down low in the RPM range similar to a diesel.
I'm still a bowtie/LS engine fan and have one too. In fact I looked at Silverados 5.3's. There were none locally with the 3:73 rear, brake controller, and tow package in the mid trim level(LT) and price any where close to what I wanted.
I'll stop calling it an ecobomb, OK.
