Confused about my 2009 Chevy Equinox LS for dinghy towing
The 2009 Dinghy towables book shows that I can tow my 2009 Equinox LS AWD dinghy style, but my manual says no. Which source do I believe and is there a safe way to know for sure?

The owner's manual is always correct. It is what is established by Chevy. The towing manuals are not always up on every vehicle put out, and it could be that the manual transmission version is towable and the automatic transmission is not towable but they did not get the distinction correct.
