I was just trying to figure this out last night. Many Cell providers allow easier access to streaming Video without taking away from your Data allocation and at the same time, on the less expensive cellular plans, they don't allow tethering. I ran into this recently went upgrading a phone that cannot be tethered at this time.
Anyways, and let me preface this, I know very little about the features of Cell phones, but I thought there is/was a way to hard wire your cell phone to your TV and stream your video directly? I think the OP said as much but it didn't work out that great!
As stated, this would be a way to stream Netflix if one wanted to....:-) so I guess I'll monitor this thread to look for idea's.
