We appreciate the service of your family, but as employees supported by our government, I am disappointed by your desire to try to evade your responsibilities to pay for the services that you desire. Each state needs to fund their portion of that commitment, and their taxation is a effort to accomplish that. Is it always fair.. . probably not, and there are ways to help minimize that burden, but in the end someone needs to pay for it.
As you have acknowledged, there have been threads here that offer ways to circumvent taxes, but I am heartened that the majority of responses here that encourage you to pay your fair share and do what is right. We are all in it together.
