What are these air compressors called and what brand should I get? Where do they go in the plumbing system? Do they have a rate of failure? I'm just nervous they won't get all the water out
I use a 12V air compressor that I plug into the cigarette lighter. It's light, extremely portable, and it was on sale at Fred Meyer. I open the faucets, stick the air compressor's hose into the fresh water fill spout, and let her run until no more water comes out. It isn't part of the plumbing system at all. It's the same thing you'd toss into the trunk in case you had a low tire, or needed to air up a bicycle tire.
