I don't smoke, have pets, or cook in here (except for microwave), and to be honest there's not really an odor problem I've noticed yet. I'm mostly trying to make sure I don't wake up one morning and go "what happened in here?"
Yeah, during the summer here in Texas if the dehumidifier is off, the humidity in the RV will normally creep up to 75-80%, and everything starts feeling kind of sticky inside, especially clothes and sheets. So keeping the RH at 50% really makes a difference. I normally end up dumping out about 2 quarts of of water a day!
During the winter, the inside RH normally fluctuates between 40 and 60%, so no problems there.
Great ideas. I'll start off by at least using the windows and vents on nice days, something I haven't really bothered doing. I'll also look into the ozone generator.. it sounds interesting though I'm a little wary of the health risks.
