- Nutinelse2doExplorerIt's not so much the propane that would be a problem, but the possibility of a giant mess.
I have had a Crock Pot going in transit before, ( in the sink ), and used the microwave quite a bit, but never even considered using the oven or stove.
I would pull over somewhere if stove/ oven use was mandatory, but on travel days, there is usually some forward thinking involved to avoid that scenario - Grit_dogNavigatorStove top would be sketchy, but oven or microwave cooking is totally doable.
Used to ride in a tailgating rig to games where ribs would go in the oven early, stay in there on the drive to the stadium and ready to eat later! - JAXFLExplorerAny idea why they have seat belt??
- slickest1ExplorerYou may wind up with an upside down cake!
Some folks secure a crock pot in their sink and cook their meal while driving down the road.
When we were looking at motorhomes one gal told us she and the kids would shower while hubby drove down the road. Good balance I guess! - tpiExplorerWhile I haven't done it, I have friends who have baked or used crock pot underway. Somehow they secured the pot..not sure how.
- wildtoadExplorer IIGo watch the Long Long Trailer. Bumps can cause real yet funny issues.
- IdaDExplorerI travel with propane on so I can run the fridge and water heater, but I don't think I'd want to try to cook anything. Too much potential for a big mess.

First, I'm assuming you're talking about an RV, not a trailer?
The biggest issue with cooking something while driving is that you might hit a bump or have to brake suddenly, and that could end up making quite the mess with your food.
Or wearing that hot food or beverage. Watch "The Long Trailer" with Lucy & Desi and tell us what you think. How about a sandwich instead?
RichH - sch911ExplorerDoesn't sound like a great idea to me. Stuff in there will move around, spill, fall out. etc...
