Cost of brake job
Any idea what the cost is to get new magnets and brake shoes installed on a pair of dexter 6000 lb axles on my 5th wheel.......when I called CW I got more of a run around than a ride on a carousel.

We just did it on our trailer with 10 inch brakes. We got the brake assemblies from eTrailer for $143. Then we had the drums turned for $100. 2 sets of new bearings and new seals about $85.
So, we're up to $328.00 and we did the labor ourselves.
Well all new bearings, seems like a bit of over kill, but peace of mind is priceless.
X2 for sure on the backing plates, and X100 on turning the drums, that is likely the biggest miss most have on a DIY brake job! Makes all the difference in the world.
